Your files

Every free tool processes your files inside your browser. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Some tools download what they need the first time you use them: open-source libraries and models from jsDelivr and Hugging Face (the video compatibility engine and speech recognition). Those services see an ordinary web request from your browser (IP address, browser type), never your files.

Feedback you send us

Feedback is always optional. When you answer “Did this work?” on a tool page, or send a message with the feedback form, we store one entry in our database (Cloudflare D1) containing:

• the tool or page (for example heic-to-jpg), the page language and the time you sent it;
• your answer (yes or no) and the reason you picked, or the form category (bug, idea, new tool request, other);
• the text you wrote, if any (at most 1,000 characters);
• your email address, only if you typed one;
• for tool answers: the input format (for example HEIC), the output format, the total size as a range (for example 1–10 MB), the number of files as a range and the processing time as a range (for example 5–30 s);
• your browser and operating system family without versions (for example “Chrome/Windows”), your country as reported by Cloudflare, and the site version.

We never receive your files, their names or their contents, and we don't store your IP address. To stop abuse, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address combined with a secret and the current minute for about five minutes; it can't be turned back into the address.

Your email address is used only to reply to that message. It is not added to any mailing list and not shared with anyone.

Feedback is deleted automatically after 12 months. To have it deleted sooner, send us a message with the feedback form from the same email address.

If your feedback can't be sent (for example when you are offline), your browser keeps it in local storage and tries again on your next visit, for up to 7 days.

Analytics

There are no analytics or tracking scripts on this site.

No cookies

filetidy sets no cookies. Your browser's local storage keeps your theme and language choice, and any feedback waiting to be sent. Tools that download libraries or models keep them in your browser's cache so they don't download again. You can clear all of it in your browser settings.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks; Cloudflare's privacy policy applies.
